For Hospitals and Community Health Centers:
The Massachusetts Broadband Institute (MBI) is participating in a federal grant program to map broadband information for the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. Hospitals and community health centers are considered important communtiy anchor institutions that will be included on the state and national broadband maps. As part of the grant program, the MBI is required to collect a snapshot of the broadband services currently used at each hospital and community health center in the state.
For Municipalities:
The MBI is also collecting information about the broadband services currently being used in town halls and municipalities across the state. This survey should be completed by a person knowledgeable about the town hall's Internet connections.
For Residents: Take the Massachusetts Broadband Survey

Ensure your voice is heard by telling us about broadband availability where you live or work!
Thousands of Massachusetts residents have responded to previous broadband surveys, or contacted their elected representatives or the MBI, to tell us about the lack of adequate broadband at their location. This citizen-provided data about broadband availability helps MBI ensure the accuracy of our coverage map and focus and target our investments. To make it easier for citizens to share their data with MBI directly, and for all to see what Massachusetts residents statewide are reporting about their broadband, MBI and MassGIS have developed this interactive mapping tool.
Take the Massachusetts Broadband Survey and then view the results.
For slower connections, take the Massachusetts Broadband Survey
without the map.
